Buon Giorno Famiglia!!!
Come' state'?? Fantastico! How is everybody?? Thanks for the letters and packages.. You're all the best.. I'm so glad that you had a good time at Girls Camp and that all is well.. I talked with the Boulters just this morning and they said to say hello and that they love you.. I'm down to just thirteen days until I leave.. We get our travel plans this week, however, an Elder in our District's mom has an in at the Travel Agency for the Church. She called in and found out that we fly out at 3:30 am on Tuesday the 27th.. We have no idea where to or what layovers, but that's the time all of our watches are set on.. Can't believe I'm almost gone.. I'll talk regarding that next week.. Can I just tell you what a blessing it is to be a missionary? To be set apart as one to Represent Jesus Christ in all that I do?? It's unbelievable.. The changes that have taken place in my own life in the last month and a half are remarkable.. Our Heavenly Father truly does love each one of us so dearly and so closely.. He's in every single little detail of EVERYTHING.. I wrote Dad today saying that.. And it isn't just because I'm on a mission, it's always.. Being here has just helped me recognize His hand in all things.. It's absolutely amazing.. We have this tendency to think of him as a head coach on the sideline.. He's not.. Not only is he handing us the ball, blocking the way from all temptations throughout our path, and guiding us to the end zone, he's also pouring out blessings to all of those around us while doing so.. He's a hands-on, loving Heavenly Father.... I wanted to write home about a couple of things today.. Hopefully this will help fulfill my purpose in inviting others to come unto Christ and hopefully you can apply it your life.. Yesterday at gym an Elder from our Distretto, Anziano Dugdale, came down hard on someone's leg.. He was immediately carried to the therapy room.. In a gym of 19 year olds of all skill levels, ankle sprains are often to say the least.. I went in there and looked at him and his leg.. His leg was broken. His face was pale. He was sweating from the state of shock that his body had been put through. And all that was on his mind was that he wasn't going to Rome. I have sprained my ankles more than two handful of times and even have been ran over by an SUV. His leg was broken. The doctors knew it, the therapists knew it, us Missionaries knew it..... So we prayed. We prayed in behalf of Elder Dugdale. We prayed in behalf of those families he's going to meet on July 28th. Family... Our God is a God of Miracles. He is anxiously waiting to perform these for you each and everyday... As Elder Dugdale was wheeled into a van to be taken to the Hospital for X-rays, further analysis, and a diagnosis the image in everybody's mind was him returning with a cast and a wheelchair.... Elder Dugdale walked into my room this morning. The faith of that young man was beyond what we could comprehend, but not beyond what we can obtain. The doctor's were absolutely stunned. The x-ray should no break. No fracture. Nothing. Miraculous?? So what else does our loving Heavenly Father do for us when we have a worry about something?? And as pertained to Elder Dugdale not being able to go to Italy?? He sent him a nurse that served in Rome Italy. They spoke Italiano the whole time. Miracles happen family. Every second of every single day. Fear not, but be believing. I love you so very much.. There's something else I wanted to share with you.. You may all know that I am a cryer. I cry, so what.. Since entering the MTC I have been granted with some of the most miraculous and extreme spiritual experiences of my life thus far. I couldn't cry. The tears would just not come. Just yesterday I got a letter from Mom and again one from Hayley today. I pray for Annie. What a sweet soul and what an enormous amount of adversity that you are all going through right now. When I read that letter about the amount of panic that came in that time during Girl's Camp I was overtaken with the Spirit and the love that Heavenly Father has for each one of you and especially Annie. I then went on to read that Hayley immediately sought after the Priesthood. The Priesthood. Family... I bawled like a baby. That will forever be remembered in my heart. Hayley... You are an angel. Please recognize the blessing of the Priesthood. What a testimony to my heart that forever will stay concrete that families are ordained of God. That this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. That we are Latter-day Saints. That Eternal Life is there for us, that the Book of Mormon is true. I love you family.. So very much.. You strengthen me every single day in ways I couldn't explain.. Keep the Commandments, fear not, but be believing.. In the name of Jesus Christ I promise you that the blessings of such commandments are ENDLESS.. There is not restrain to the blessings of our Heavenly Father.. He loves us so much He gave us His only Begotten Son.. And family... Pray always. He is with you. He loves you..
Vi amo!
